OC Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento, 2nd District

County Climate Action Plan

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Join us at our Second District's climate action public forum to discuss the County’s vision for the Climate Action Plan (CAP). The County team will present information and answer your questions.

Date: Wednesday, June 26, from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Location: County Administration South, 601 N. Ross St. Santa Ana

What is the CAP? Its a framework for measuring, planning and reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) from County-owned assets and unincorporated areas. The CAP also aims to support local economic and public health co-benefits by identifying actions in six key sectors.

Whether you’re an Orange County resident, business owner, or employee, your feedback plays a valuable role in how climate reduction measures and sustainable programs will be established and prioritized in the County.

The more feedback we receive, the better we’ll be able to enhance local services, improve the air we breathe, and support more environmentally friendly resources in your area. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our office at (714) 834-3220.
